Spider-Man is back! Just kidding. I mean Ant-Man, obviously, though it seems that our friendly neighborhood shrinking superhero sometimes gets mistaken for that other guy. But Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and fam have much bigger (or is that smaller?) problems in the trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which introduces Bill Murray in a mysterious role—and also presents Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), who totally isn’t that other character that Majors played in Loki.
It’s an adventure for the whole family, this time, after Cassie (Kathryn Newton) creates a device that sends a signal to the Quantum Realm—much to the distress of Janet (Michelle Pfeiffer), who’s spent some time there. And it sure seems like a place a person could get lost in. There’s a lot going on here, from massive military installations to weird plants to your average cozy cantinas—and Bill Murray, whose character Janet obviously has some history with.
And then there’s Kang, who seems to be offering Scott a dangerous choice. (But at least he knows which hero Scott is!)
Director Peyton Reed returns for his third Ant-film; this one is written by Jeff Loveness.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is in theaters February 17, 2023.
